Try-a-Trade

This is your chance to try out different trades, discover your passion, and make informed decisions about your future studies.

Every Western Technical College Try-a-Trade program is designed to give students the essential evidence needed for the School Students Referral to VET form. This is crucial because access to approved, subsidised VET courses for school students in South Australia is facilitated through the VET Readiness Orientation (VETRO) Upfront Assessment of Need (VETRO UAN) process. Our Try-a-Trade programs help you gather the necessary documentation, making your pathway to future VET studies smoother and more accessible.
