Resources and Infrastructure

Certificate II Resources and Infrastructure provides practical foundation skills you need to carry out a range of basic tasks in the resource and infrastructure sectors such as mining and civil construction. You will learn how to work safely and perform mainly routine tasks and procedures, using practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge.

Students will gain skills appropriate to numerous fields of work within the resources and infrastructure sector. Successful completion of this qualification will prepare students to undertake a sector specified Certificate III from the Resources and Infrastructure Industry or transition to work through an Australian School Based Apprenticeship (ASBA) or fully indentured apprenticeship, including:

• Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
• Certificate III in Resource Processing
