This Certificate II in Salon Assistant is a Flexible Industry Pathway (FIP) and is partially funded by the South Australian Government. The qualification covers practical skills in hairdressing and barbering. You will learn about interacting with clients and providing hairdressing and barbering services, as well as developing skills to become an integral part of a highly creative team. In this pre-apprenticeship course, you will develop your understanding of the Hair and Beauty Industry and be exposed to common scenarios experienced on the job. 

The Cert II in Retail Cosmetics is the ideal start to your career in the make-up or beauty industry. You will learn a range of skills to provide make-up for varying occasions, client care, sell and recommend beauty products to an industry standard. In this pathway course, you will develop your understanding of the Make-Up and Beauty Industry and be exposed to common scenarios experienced on the job.
