Community Services
The qualification covers skills for working within the broader community services sector as well as transferable skills for many other industries. This qualification may be used as a pathway for workforce entry as community services workers who provide a first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their immediate needs. At this level, work takes place under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.
Students will gain skills appropriate to numerous fields of work within the Community Services Sector. Successful completion of this qualification may be used as a pathway into community services work and a number of Community Services & Health courses at Certificate III level, including:
- Certificate III in Community Services
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
